COTI privacy-centric Layer 2 · Fireflight decentralized node operator
COTI — “Currency of the Internet” — is a privacy-centric Layer 2 network built on Ethereum.
COTI has evolved from its earlier DAG-based design into an EVM-compatible Layer 2, bringing confidential computation to the Ethereum ecosystem. Its core technology uses garbled circuits to make on-chain data private, enabling confidential transactions and smart contracts at a fraction of the cost of comparable privacy techniques.
The goal is to give users and builders privacy without sacrificing the speed, composability and tooling of the wider EVM world — so sensitive data can stay protected while still living on a public, decentralized network.
Garbled-circuit cryptography keeps transaction data confidential on a public chain.
A Layer 2 on Ethereum — familiar tooling, contracts and composability.
A distributed network of independent node operators keeps it running and resilient.
I operate Fireflight, an independent node that helps secure and decentralize the COTI network. Running a node means real uptime, monitoring and maintenance — work that keeps the network healthy and trustworthy.
You can check Fireflight's health on my live status page, and see every operator's uptime on COTI's official board.
